The men’s change room located in the Buell Fitness and Aquatics Centre has had significant renovations and upgrades and is now open and fully operational for visitors.

Some of the significant improvements include larger lockers, new Dyson hand dryers, new tiles, and freshly painted walls to name a few.

This renovation is the final phase of a large-scale upgrade to all the visitor change rooms at the Buell Fitness and Aquatics Centre, which began in early fall 2018.

The implementation of such substantial renovations requires teamwork from various departments and individuals working in tandem towards a common goal. Real Property Operations Detachment (RPO Det) played a substantial role in having this project come to fruition, without their determination and professionalism this project would not have been possible and they are to be commended for their tireless hard work.

Another shout out goes to Cornerstone Building and Property Services Inc. who did top-notch work and the Personnel Support Programs (PSP) team who worked tirelessly to facilitate the renovations, ensured visitors had alternative option for services and assisted in countless ways to see this improvement through to the end.

Come by the Buell Fitness and Aquatic Centre and enjoy the new and improved facilities ready to serve you.
