Tween Programming

On Monday, March 11, from 3 – 4:30 p.m., we invite you to enjoy some retro fun.  All participants will have a chance to try a variety of gadgets from the 1980s.

On Tuesday March 13, from 3-4:30 p.m. join us for our maker fair. Tweens, this is your chance to get creative! You’ll have access to our green screen, vinyl cutter, button maker, building kits and more.

On Friday, March 15, from 2-4 p.m., we are hosting breakout boxes. You’ll have 20 minutes to breakout of the library. Are you up to the challenge? Prizes included.

MARCH BREAK FUN!

During the March break, for all ages, we are hosting puzzles and board games all day at both our Angus and Thornton branches on Tuesday, March 12.

We have pyjama story time at our Angus branch on Tuesday, March 12, from 7-7:30 p.m., at our Thornton branch on Thursday, March 14, from 7:30 p.m.  Bring your favourite stuffy!

On Thursday, March 14, we are showing Ralph Breaks the Internet, in English at our Angus branch at 11 a.m., and in French at our Angus branch at 2 p.m. Popcorn will be served at both showings.

DATE NIGHT!

Date night movie for adults.  Are you due for a night out? Consider the library as your date destination!  On Tuesday, March 26, from 6 – 8 p.m., we are showing Green Book. Your $2 ticket includes pizza and pop.
