CFB Borden is getting into the festive spirit! On the evening of Saturday, 3 December, Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers School (RCEME) hosted their annual Festival of Lights parade. Several military vehicles were dressed up in colourful lights for the community to enjoy in the residential area of CFB Borden.
PSP got creative by driving a Zamboni in the parade, but this year the best float award went to Base Transport!
It was a great community turnout along the parade route, which started at the intersection of Grave Boulevard and Somme Boulevard, then followed Saskatchewan Boulevard to Arras Rd.
The week following the parade, Base Transport received the trophy for having the best float during a special award presentation.
