March Break day camps and activities

Looking for some March Break activities for your little ones? Whether they’re interested in creative activities or physical ones, there are plenty of options to consider.

BFRC March Break Family Fun Challenge!

The Borden Family Resource Centre invites you to participate and enjoy some fun, free activities for the chance to win prizes. From March 7-11 participants can either pick up the Family Fun Challenge list at the BFRC or receive it by email. Complete at least five activities on the list between March 12-20 and submit a picture collage or drawing of the ones you finished to enter the draw for great prizes.

CFB Borden March Break day camp (Ages 5-12)

Community Recreation is excited to host March Break camp for Children ages 5-12. Our camp is currently full, but families can still put their names on a waitlist. Each day will include games, sports, swimming and crafts. Each day will have a different special activity such as skating at the Andy Anderson Arena, bowling at the Circled Pine Bowling Alley, a movie at the Terra Theater, canvas painting and water safety lessons.

Gibson School of the Arts day camp (Grades 1-8)

Your little artists can unleash their creativity with a different art experience each day through visual arts, theatre, music, yoga and more. The camp costs $180 for March 14-18, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. A sibling discount is available.

Barrie Kempettes Gymnastics Club day camp (Ages 5+)

Activities include physical exercise and gymnastics, games, and arts and crafts for $52/session.

Vertical Zone Trampoline Club day camp (Ages 5-12)

For children who have independent self-regulation and self-care skills, fun activities include trampoline and double mini trampoline instruction, pit and air bag time, creative obstacle courses and cooperative games. No previous trampoline training experience required. The cost is $75/day or $65/day if registered for the full week. Camp runs from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
