Contest Rules and Regulations
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.
Eligibility: Contest is open to all ages of the general public, CAF members and DND employees and their families. The contest is only open to legal residents of Canada (Ontario) and is void where prohibited by law.
Employees of Borden Citizen, immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of the Borden Citizen Employees are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
Contest Period: Contest runs 18 June 2022 to 19 June 2022 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
How to Enter: The Contest must be entered by subscribing to our newsletter here: https://mailchi.mp/f9d457f327ff/citizensubscribe.
Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Borden Citizen. You may only subscribe with one e-mail per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility.
Prize(s): One (1) winner of the contest will receive one (1) voucher for a two-night (2) stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Barrie. Winner is responsible for picking up the prize from the Borden Citizen offices. Prize generously donated by Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Barrie.
No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Borden Citizen to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected by Random Draw and will be notified by email. Winner will have 7 days to claim their prize, and must pick up their prize within 60 days. Product is not available for return/exchange. Borden Citizen shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner drawn.
Terms & Conditions: Borden Citizen reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest at any time.
Privacy Policy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Borden Citizen website.

The Contest hosted by Borden Citizen is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
By participating in the contest You, the Contestant, have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of the Official Rules & Regulations.
General:
- By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Rules and the decisions of the Borden Citizen and/or the independent contest organization, which are final in all respects.
- Without limiting the generality of the foregoing and for greater certainty, by entering the Contest, each entrant consents to being contacted by the Borden Citizen for Contest-related purposes, which includes but is not limited to Prize eligibility notifications and prize claim reminder notifications.
- The Contest winner, including their respective first and last names, may be announced in the Borden Citizen newspaper.
