CANEX is hosting a free BBQ for the first 350 people on Wednesday, 27 July to kick off CF1 Days. The three-day sale runs until 31 July with great instore deals and vendors onsite for the 27 July event, including OK Tire Barrie, Giant Bikes Barrie, The Personal Insurance Company and Monster Energy Drinks.
“The CF1 event is a celebration of the CAF community and gives CANEX and local vendors an opportunity to give back to not only the CAF members themselves by to their families too,” said Tom Bennet, store manager of CANEX, Borden, adding that this is a chance to thank the spouses and families of members in uniform.
Bennet also extended his thanks to M&M Meats, Coca-Cola and Pepsi for their support of the event.
Though this year’s event will not be quite as robust as past years where bouncy castles, face painting and carnival games were also in the mix, Bennet is pleased that CANEX can still offer great savings and food for the Borden community.
“Anyone who knows me or has seen me at one of the previous BBQs we have done knows that I love talking to people and making them laugh or smile and as this is the first BBQ in over three years, that excites me.”
