The end of 2022 is fast approaching and it won’t be long before we are taking leave, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the spirit of the season. 2022 has been a great and challenging year. We have seen some return to “normal” with increased social gatherings and being able to see faces, smiles and laughter in person.
The Borden PSP team accomplished an incredible amount this year. Each department, Recreation, Health, Fitness, Messes, Communications and Golf, surpassed expectations, bringing outstanding services to the Defence Team. Focusing on social, physical and mental wellness, events included Health and Physical Fitness Day, CAF Sports Day, Spooky Sprint, Wine & Cheese, Down Homers, and the inaugural Borden Blast. And who could forget a perfect weekend in June that brought a community of thousands to celebrate the Canadian Armed Forces Day and Air Show 2022! It has truly been our pleasure to share these experiences with you.
