The CFB Kingston women’s team and CFB Gagetown men’s team took home the trophies for the Canadian Armed Forces National Volleyball Championships, which took place at CFB Borden at the end of April.
On the women’s side, Kingston faced off with Ottawa for a 3-0 win in the final game of the two-day tournament. Capt Mvuezolo of Kingston and Capt Boyer of Ottawa were named game MVPs.
The men’s tournament came to a close when Gagetown beat Esquimalt 3-0. Gagetown’s Capt Chua and Esquimalt’s Cpl Faucon we named game MVPs.
