Slow Cooker Stuffed Apples

Here is a great healthy alternative for desert. Quick and easy prep and then simply wait for the slow cooker to heat these up!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place apples in slow cooker. Pour orange juice into bottom of slow cooker.

  2. In a small bowl, combine oats, almonds, flax seed, ginger and orange rind. Using a small spoon overfill core of each apple up to the top. Cover and cook on Low for 6 hours or on High for 3 hours until apples are tender.

  3. Serve apples with slow cooker juices and top with yogurt (if using).
