On May 7th and 8th, Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering (CFSATE) hosted the 40th annual Air Cadet Activity Day (ACAD).

More than 650 Cadets and Cadet staff participated in the event, which aims to provide members of local Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadrons (RCACS) with an opportunity to display skills they develop in the Air Cadets program. The CFSATE-sponsored event is also an opportunity for them to learn more about the Canadian Armed Forces, and the Royal Canadian Air Force.

“It was amazing to see such a fantastic turnout for the Air Cadet Activity Day.,” said Lieutenant-Colonel Bishop, CFSATE Commandant. “The Air Cadets provides young people with leadership, citizenship and physical fitness opportunities, and it was truly an honour to host all these wonderful people for a weekend of fun and challenging activities”.
