Stop by CANEX on 9 December between 1000-1800 hrs to help fill a cruiser!
Borden’s Military Police Unit will have a cruiser at CANEX to collect donations of food, clothing and gifts for children in support of the Seasonal Sharing Basket, an annual campaign to provide a helping hand to military members and their families in need.
Fill a cruiser is accepting:
- Unopened, unwrapped toys
- Non-perishable food with a best before date after 31 Jan 2023
- Cash donations
- Hygiene products
- New winter gear
- New clothes
All donations support families right here at Base Borden who are facing financial hardship. Last year, Seasonal Sharing Basket supported more than 55 families and 200 children.
Self-identified Defence Team members employed at CFB Borden are eligible to participate in the program. To apply, submit your application by 9 December by speaking with your Chain of Command or unit Padre.
