Grab your favourite snacks, drinks and even a frozen meal all at one stop
On 24 October, Base Commander Colonel Jonathan Michaud and Chief Petty Officer 1st Class Robert Wilcox visited The Hub to officially open the new mini mart.
The mini mart is powered by vending machine company Canteen who provide contactless, self-service snack stations with a plethora of food and drink options, hot or cold.
With the new addition of the mini mart, members can easily access refreshments with the scan of their thumbprint or by tapping their payment method whilst enjoying all the entertainment that The Hub has to offer.
To make things even more convenient, members attending The Hub can create an account with Canteen and allocate funds for their purchases at their own convenience.
How to check out at the Mini mart:
1. Scan your items at the checkout
2. Select Payment Method
a. Use the Connect and Pay ID
b. Use a debit or credit card
c. Use your own Canteen account
3. Complete Payment
a. Via Thumbprint
b. Connect and Pay ID
c. Debit/Credit card
d. Market Card
How to make an account:
1. At the kiosk, select ‘create an account’
a. Use scannable ID or fingerprint
b. Choose a four-digit PIN number
c. Add first and last name
2. To log in, select ‘account log in’ at the kiosk
a. And use your fingerprint or scannable ID
3. To add funds to your account, press ‘account log in’
a. Use your fingerprint or ID to verify
b. Select ‘fund with card’
c. Input the desired amount of funds
