Project Poppy is an initiative organized by the Borden Family Resource Centre to honour the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country in times of war, conflict and peace. For the past three years, local families participated in Project Poppy by displaying a poppy in their front window during Veteran’s Week.
This activity is offered at no cost and is available to CAF Members/Veterans and their immediate families, and the Defence Team and their immediate families. Project Poppy kits contain the necessary supplies for creating a window display, and will be available for pick-up from October 30th to November 6th . Eligible registrants who send in a photo of their window display to bordenfamilyresourcecentre@gmail.com will be entered in a contest to win a prize package of items from the Poppy Store.
