Each year the Royal Canadian Legions across Canada sponsor the Literary and Poster Contest for students to provide them with the opportunity to express their thoughts about Remembrance Day. The categories are as follows:
- Primary grades (1, 2, 3) Black and white or colour poster
- Junior grades (4, 5, 6) Black and white poster, colour poster, or poem
- Intermediate grades (7, 8, 9) Black and white poster, colour poster, or poems
- Senior grades (10, 11, 12) Black and white poster, colour poster, essay or poem
The above breakdowns apply to all home-schooled students as well. All entries will be due by 11 November 2022. Angus Legion once again will be judging the entries on Sunday, 20 November. Winning entries will be on display until 26 November.
Good luck to all students who will be participating at Branch Level, as 1st place winning submissions will go on to be judged at the next level (Zone, District, etc.).
