Black History Month

The Canadian Forces Base Borden Defence Visible Minority Advisory Group is proud to announce that guest speaker Dr. Rita Shelton Deverell will join us to celebrate Black History Month on 7 February 2024. Dr. Shelton Deverell is a scholar, author and artist who is a Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award Winner, a Member of the Order of Canada, and 10th Chancellor of Lakehead University and will be speaking on the theme of Empowerment.

Where: The presentation will be held at the Waterloo Officer’s Mess, Vice Regal Room.

When: 0900-1100 hrs, 7 February 2024
