Personnel Support Programs (PSP) Summer Camps: Summer is around the corner and it’s time to gear up for camp season!

Every kid deserves a chance to unleash their creativity, learn new skills, and make new friends. PSP summer camps offer an array of opportunities for children to explore while having fun:

  • Exceptional sports and recreational facilities;
  • Safe and enriching environment;
  • HIGH FIVE certified Recreation Leaders who are enthusiastic and welcoming;
  • Excellent Rec Leader/child ratios; and
  • Activities to suit everyone’s needs.

Our vision is to create a community where all children feel valued and supported, and where participation in recreation activities is accessible to everyone. We are committed to providing individualized support and accommodations to ensure that all children can participate fully and meaningfully in our PSP Summer Camps.

Our goal is to provide all children with a camp experience that is fun, positive and safe. We believe that with understanding and support, every child can make a contribution that is valuable to the community. That is why we have adopted a National Inclusion Support Policy that encourages children who require inclusion support to enrol in our PSP summer camps. These children can enjoy a stimulating environment with other children, who in turn learn to understand and accept differences.

As a part of the HIGH FIVE® (you are now leaving the Government of Canada website) framework and the HIGH FIVE® Design Guidelines of a caring leader who supports mastering new skills, making new friends and participating in play serve as the foundation to our program. At PSP Summer Camps “Welcoming Diversity and Uniqueness” is key to ensuring quality programming.

The level of inclusion support and eligibility are determined based on availability of resources.
