Poppies have been a symbol of military sacrifice for almost a hundred years and are recognized worldwide.
The Borden Family Resource Centre (BFRC) invites the community to honour currently serving CAF members and the memory of the fallen this Remembrance Day by participating in Project Poppy.
From 1 to 4 November the BFRC’s Project Poppy will provide kits containing the materials needed to create and display poppies in the windows of participant homes leading up to Remembrance Day. The project will provide visible support and recognition to CAF members, Veterans, and their families.
Participating families are encouraged to submit pictures of their decorated windows to the BFRC for display and possible posting on the Centre’s Facebook page. Those who share their photos will be entered into a draw for poppy-themed prizes!
There are a limited number of kits available so please register in advance.
