PSA: Use of blank artillery rounds during Remembrance Day Ceremony

November 10, 2023 – Borden, Ontario – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

Residents of CFB Borden and Angus are to be aware that blank artillery rounds will be fired during the Remembrance Day Ceremony on Saturday, November 11, 2023. Rounds will be fired at 11:00 a.m. and 11:02 a.m. Residents can expect to hear a loud percussive sound, followed by echoing, which may startle persons in the vicinity.

The Remembrance Day ceremony will take place at Borden Legacy Park (intersection of Highway 10 and Mill St.) from 10:15 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Parking will be available at the Angus Arena and Rainbow Mall.
