Looking for some Halloween fun at CFB Borden? On Saturday 22 October, 2022 the Spooky Sprint event is returning once again, and this year it’s free to attend.
Instead of a fee, participants are asked to bring a donation of one non-perishable food item per person. Advanced registration is still required for head count purposes.
Event schedule
- 1630 hrs Commander’s Challenge 10K
- 1830 hrs Children’s Creepy K
- 1900 hrs Freaky 5K walk/run
Adults accompanying children on the Creepy 1K do not have to register, but all participating kids must be registered.
Remember, costumes are encouraged for all! And don’t forget your flashlight or headlamp. Due to limited lighting on the trails, these will be mandatory for the Freaky 5K. For safety reasons, strollers are allowed in the 5K walk/run and Children’s Creepy K only, and no pets or headphones are permitted in any of the races.
