Military Police at CFB Borden are thanking the community for once again stepping up and helping make this year’s fill-a-cruiser event a success.

On Friday, 9 December, MPs were stationed in the CANEX parking lot, accepting donations to support military families on the base in need of a little extra support this holiday season. The donations will be distributed through the Seasonal Sharing Basket, an annual base-led initiative that provides self-identified families with everything they need to alleviate the financial burden of the season and make sure every child on base has a special holiday. Along with donated toys, food, clothing, winter gear and hygiene products, the collection raised approximately $1,000 in cash and gift card donations.

MPU Borden wishes to thank the many people who stopped by to help fill the cruiser to the brim with donated food, clothing and toys to support their fellow members.
