Soldiers from the Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot Angus will be conducting controlled detonations at CFB Borden, from September 8 to 9, 2022.
Locals in the CFB Borden vicinity can expect to hear controlled explosions between approximately 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday. At no time will this disposal activity pose a risk to the local population or infrastructure. Rigorous safety standards that govern the use of controlled detonations are in place and will be strictly observed.
